Customer Groups & Alternate Day Delivery Schedules

Organize customers by colony groups, assign custom color badges, and configure flexible delivery schedules (Alternate Days, Weekdays, Odd/Even Days).

Smart Delivery Route Management

Water suppliers don't deliver to every customer every day. With Customer Groups and Delivery Schedules, PaniHisab automatically filters who needs water today on your Daily Entry screen, saving time and preventing missed deliveries.

1. Creating & Managing Customer Groups

Customer Groups allow you to organize your customers by neighborhood, colony, tower, or route (e.g. Sector 5, Market Complex, Green Colony).

Step 1: Open Groups Page

Go to Groups from the main menu or click Create Group on the Home dashboard.

Step 2: Click "+ New Group" & Pick a Color Tag

Enter your group name (e.g., Varachha Sector 4) and pick a distinct color tag (Blue, Green, Amber, Purple, Red, Cyan). Every customer in this group will display a colorful tag badge across all delivery screens!

Step 3: Assign Customers with Multi-Select

Use the customer multi-select picker inside the group modal to quickly check all customers belonging to this group, then tap Create Group.

2. Delivery Schedules (Alternate Day, Weekdays, Odd/Even)

When creating or editing a customer in Customers, you can configure their Delivery Schedule mode:

☀️Daily (Default)

Customer receives water delivery every single day without interruption.

🗓️Every N Days (Alternate Day)

Set interval days (e.g. 2 for Alternate Days, 3 for Every 3rd Day). PaniHisab calculates delivery dates based on the customer's creation date.

📆Weekdays (Custom Days)

Multi-select specific days of the week (e.g. Mon, Wed, Fri). Delivery is scheduled only on selected days.

🔢Odd / Even Days

Deliveries scheduled on Odd calendar dates (1st, 3rd, 5th...) or Even calendar dates (2nd, 4th, 6th...).

3. Daily Entry Route & Group Filtering

On the Daily Entry screen, the top header includes 3 direct dropdown filter columns on Line 3:

Filter ColumnAvailable OptionsDescription
🛣️ RouteToday's Route, Alternate Days, Weekdays, Odd/Even, DailySelect Today's Route to instantly hide customers who are off-schedule today!
