How to Create & Manage Products

Adding products (like 20L Chilled Jar, Normal Capsule Jar, or 1L Bottle Case) enables 1-tap daily delivery entry and ensures correct monthly bill calculations.
Steps to Create a Product
1. Go to Products Section
Log into your PaniHisab account. From the left sidebar menu on laptop or bottom menu on mobile, tap Products.
2. Click 'Add Product' Button
Tap the blue + Add Product button at the top right of the Products screen to open the product form modal.
3. Enter Product Name & Select Type
Type a clear name for your product (e.g., 20L Chilled Water Jar) and select the Category Type from the dropdown:
- Chilled Water Jar: For cold/chilled 20-litre cans
- Normal Capsule Jar: For standard room temperature RO cans
- Water Bottle: For 1L, 500ml, or 250ml disposable bottle cases
- Water Dispenser / Cooler: For rental or sale equipment
- Tanker: For bulk water supply deliveries
4. Select Capacity & Set Default Price
Select the jar volume or size (e.g., 20 L, 1 L, 500 ML) and enter your standard selling price per jar (e.g., ₹30 per jar).
5. Configure Returnable Jar Tracking
Check the Returnable Jar box if customers must return empty cans back (e.g., 20L Jars). Leave unchecked for disposable bottles or single-use items.
